The fabrication of the pipe for the two off-shore pipelines for South Pars Phase 9&10 has terminated

Per statement of the off-shore project manager for phase 9 &10, the fabrication of the pipes required for the two off-shore pipelines (4” and 32”) has terminated.
Mr Aboutaleb Mirhadifard in an interview with Shana’s correspondence declared that
With the termination of the pipe fabrication for the 4” off-shore pipeline in Louleh Sazi Ahvaz, the coating operation (with polyethylene) has started and it will take a week to accomplish.
He explained that since the Iranian Co are responsible for the fabrication of the 170 km of off-shore 32” pipeline, the concrete coating operation has also started.
He further mentioned that the study of the off-shore engineering portion for phase 9& 10 has terminated and added that the construction of two platforms for this project has started this month in Khoramshar.
Per Shana’s report the responsibility of the execution of the South Pars Phase 9&10 EPC project( which include engineering ,procurement, construction and commissioning phases) is with the consortium of LG (South Korea),OIEC and IOEC.
The financial resources have been provided through structured finance.
The duration of the contract for the development of this project with the contribution of %58 Iranian portion and %42 foreign portion in two part of off-shore and on-shore is estimated to be 52 months. The first stage of production will start next year.
The main goal is to produce 50 million cubic meter treated natural gas per day for domestic use , 80,000 barrel of condensate gas for export, 400 ton of sulfur as auxiliary product ,1 million ton ethane per year for the feed of petrochemical units and 1,005,0000 ton of LPG for export.
